An active producer involved with name projects and talent has expressed interest in my work that it's "...commercially viable"! Any suggestions for representation?
May you all be keeping well during these troubled times.
Hi Michael, that’s great! But, you may not need representation if there is already interest in your work. If you progress with this producer I’d recommend getting an entertainment attorney to negotiate for you.
I forgot to add that getting a manager or an agent will cut into 10% of your deal, and a good attorney will only take 5%, so save that money in your pocket if you can :)
Also. If you're low on funds. Look into your local Lawyers For The Arts who will give your contract a good look-see and assist in closing the deal for a $50.00 ( USD ) Admin Fee.

Congrats on your success. Biggest lesson learned? Or what do you wish you knew then, that you know now?
