Greetings from mesmerizing Montana. This group was recommended by an editor for my book. I have written a dark comedy, real estate memoir that has won a couple awards. Id like to see it become a tv series along the lines of Sex and the City, but have limited resources in rural area where I live. I'm looking forward to connecting and learning from you all.
Good to meet you, Nico Lundborg-Griffith! That was very kind of your editor - please than them! As an author, you may enjoy the conversations in the Authoring Lounge, especially if you're looking for advice on how to adapt it for television: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/playwriting
Have you written a pilot for the series? If so, have you put together a pitch for your screenplay as well? I would highly recommend using Stage 32's free Pitching Guidebook to help you structure your pitch, whether it is a 2-page pitch document, a 5-minute verbal pitch, or a 15-30page pitch deck: https://www.stage32.com/sites/stage32.com/themes/two/pdfs/happy-writers/...
Finally, I would recommend checking out Stage 32's Adaptation Review service, as it gives you constructive notes from an executive in the industry: https://www.stage32.com/scriptservices/coverage/buy?id=66
