Hi! My name is AC. I joined last year but somehow life got in the way and forgot all about it. I've finally decided that I wanted to find more people like me and share the joys and frustrations that come with creating stories. I'm currently working on a tv show (mystery/sci-fi) and would love to know if I should keep it in Spanish or maybe translate it to English... any advice? :D

Hi Andrea. I am a screenwriter and director for TV and Film originally from Mexico City and now living In New York City. My advice is to write your series in both languages and try your luck in both markets. The pay, deals, and competition are different. While some of these factors will play in your favor, some of them will play against you. Keep in mind that what matters is the story. The universe where it happens and all its details like time period, location, and language, to name a few, are, in a sense, auxiliary.
