So here I go writing my intro in this empty box. I am a newcomer to this creative realm but creativity has always been in my soul. Growing up I was mesmerised by a new world filled with characters, colour, costumes, emotions, and music. Each frame on screen used to feel like an ever changing dance of art. But that world felt like it was somewhere over the rainbow for me, until one day Jason came along and evoked my passion for film, art, and creativity.
I am currently studying the craft of storytelling and my aspiration is to undertake projects that combine both the creative and commercial aspects of filmmaking, with a focus on screenplay, and to go to film school to explore becoming a creative producer.
Here on Stage 32 I would love to read your drafts/scripts and offer a fresh perspective to your work. My preferred genres are romance and magical realism but all genres and the mediums of film, ad films, tv, digital, etc fascinate me. So this is me...- Jackie :)

Hi, Jackie, welcome to the Stage! Wish you all the best and much success here.. Schooling sounds like a great idea. I wish I had gone to film school right out of High School.

Hey Victor, thanks so much, that means a lot to me. Oh yeah, which school would you have gone to? I'm currently researching top film schools that combine both the craft and business aspects (any suggestions are welcome). :)

I'm not sure what I would have picked. At the time, I didn't even know I could go to school for Film.
