My name is Destiny Davis and I am an editor studying for my MFA in visual effects. I joined Stage 32 because I also like to write. The first contest I entered for screenwriting I was nominated for best screenplay. I veered into video editing because I like to see the story developing visually. I think that being an editor means that I need to understand the story in the script and how to help bring that story to screen. I like to visualize in my head, be it on paper or on a screen. I have a few screenplay and series projects that I am developing but mostly everything is about my education for now. I am glad to be here and happy to meet everyone!

Congrats on the nomination, Destiny Groove Davis! I heard someone say if you want to be a better writer, learn editing because it'll show you how to write visually and you'll know what to leave out of your scripts (or something like that -- it's been a while since I heard the advice).
