Hi everyone.
As a sound designer and composer I am creating storytelling music and immersive 3D audio soundscapes and release tracks and albums. My musical styles are experimental with influences of contemporary music and organic world sounds, vibes and rhythms.
I have many years of professional experience in music production, audio editing and sound design for any kind of multimedia and have worked since the 1980s on countless projects for artists, record labels, theatre, radio, tv, and media agencies. Now since some years I am stepping more into audio drama and film scoring.
I am open to work remote as a music composer and sound designer from Germany for fair prices on editorial / educational / commercial productions as well as sometimes on interesting non-profit documentaries or low-budget artistic short films or audiobooks.

Nice to see you again, Jens Helmstedt. I just checked out "Sahara." Great track! This might sound weird, but I felt like I was in the desert. :) I followed you on Twitter.

Hi Jens: I posted a comment on your soundtrack page/site. It's hypnotic.

Hi Robert, thank you very much for your comment. I love also Jazz/Funk, which is not so often used in film scoring. I mostly work intuitively from my feelings and not so much theoretical. I'm not a good teacher, just creative. Music for films must always support the scene and not stand for itself like in a song production. In addition, you can use music and sounds to create moods that cannot be seen on the pictures or that announce the next scene. Best wishes for you!

Your welcome. It's well deserved since it sounds like about four different layers in sound track.

Hi Jems: Actually Robert reminded my about my love for funk, blues, jazz fusion. So it triggered a bunch of questions: like how many instruments do you play? How long did it take to learn arrangements and improvisational writing? Is Berkley in California still one of the best schools? I'm trying to teach myself piano and it's a bit daunting at my age, but I'm plugging through it.

Jens, sounds like you are doing some really interesting things. Are you ever looking for songs to place with artists you have reocrded?

Hi Aaron, thank you. At the moment I compose and record all songs by myself.

Hi Gloria, Regardless of age, you can learn a new instrument. Always a good idea. I tried to answer your other questions in a direct message.
