Introduce Yourself : Hi There! by Jason Kurth

Jason Kurth

Hi There!

My name is Jason Kurth and I'm a writer/director in Los Angeles, California. I've been on this platform for several years but am only recently learning the ins and outs of the site as well as networking in general. I've been working on a short-form web series called RECREATIONAL and would love to start shopping it around. I have an award-winning proof-of-concept pilot episode, a pitch deck, and the first season written. I am currently stumbling around in the dark on how to get it out there so any thoughts or insights would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and becoming a part of the community!

Cheers!

"RECREATIONAL" sounds exciting and inspiring, Jason Kurth! You can pitch your series to execs, producers, agents, etc. through the Pitch Sessions (https://www.stage32.com/scriptservices/pitch-sessions).

You can also post your pilot, pitch deck, and series bible (if you have one) on Script Revolution (https://www.scriptrevolution.com/). Script Revolution is free to use, but you can get extra features for $9.99 a month (Rockstar status). Producers and production companies search Script Revolution for projects.

Jason Kurth I don't know how to help you... but I'd love to see your POC! Is it online anywhere? Poster looks cool

Welcome, Jason Kurth! Pleased to meet you.

I really appreciate that Michael David! The POC is posted on my YouTube page here: Penney Productions RECREATIONAL - Proof of ConceptAny and all insights are more than welcome.

This is one of the best proof of concepts I've seen, Jason Kurth! Entertaining, funny, and unique (I haven't seen a movie or show about Roller Hockey)! The main actor is really talented, and great acting all around. This proof of concept is going to really help when you pitch your series.

Maurice Vaughan I can't tell you how much that means to me, thank you!! Confidence is a fickle thing in our business but this community has been incredibly helpful and supportive!

You're welcome, Jason Kurth. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this on a streamer!
