I have a few experience as a filmmaker, editor and screenwriter. However, I feel frsutrated for the constant rejections and being ghosted every apllication or contest related to the field. It's a hard time to make a living by doing other stuff like drawing or learn something else in order to save money to improve my skills and my projects.
At least I had contact while I was at college as a hobby.
Day Job-ing...actor Tim Roth (sure heard of) used to do a waitering jobs between acting gaps for not wanting to be useless in between...he's been doing that even after reaching world wide fame...there's no cradle to grave job position within film industry...period...anyone denying this is lying be it Spielberg or Lucas....you're either on contract or unemployed...so everyone's day-jobing...
I work in a pharmaceutical warehouse and when people ask what I do I tell them I give them that out of body experience and make them live another day.
