I often hear about how everything slows down during the holiday season, and there is very little activity in the spec market because producers, agents, etc. are all taking time off...
How do other writers approach this? Do you pause your marketing efforts until the new year (and maybe just enjoy the writing focus time)? When do things really pick back up, maybe mid-Jan?

I pitch like it's any other time of the year, Rodriquez Fruitbat. :) Sometimes I don't hear back from the producers, directors, etc. until maybe Jan or Feb.

Rodriquez Fruitbat Also, that's for email pitches and pitching to script leads. If I pitch on Stage 32, I normally hear back within 2 weeks.

Maurice Vaughan love this idea. Will be a good time to perfect my query letter & synopsis, research contacts on IMdB Pro, and send things out.
