In 1996 Peter Jackson made the relatively unknown Comedy Horror The Frightners. His very next feature films would be 6 years later where would be Writing and Directing The Lord of the Ring Trilogy. 21 years later, the screen plays are still worth reading especially on the sleepy holiday afternoons this Christmas:
