Screenwriting : Question about software by David Lucero

Question about software

I don't have a lot of money, mostly because I'm disabled and can't work out of my house. Needles to say, I can't afford Final Draft. I've been writing my scripts initially on MSWord and then trying to use Writer's Duet online. It's not ideal, but does anyone have any better ideas? I found this DramaQueen software, but it's not functional enough for my tastes. Any help would be appreciated.

Celtx has a free version that will allow you to write a properly formatted screenplay that can then be saved as a .pdf.

Also. It's not uber expensive as back in the day, I paid $10.00 a month for it. Of course, that was 5 years ago. But, I don't think they will have gotten too costly.

Oh. You can also look for an older version of the software on eBay.

I got FD 8 that way ( paid $40.00 USD ) and then updated to 11 for half the price.

Personally, I work in the Story Architect program, it has an English version. Story Architect has a free version for full-fledged script writing.

This is an open source program from an independent developer with a small team. The project has been developing for many years and has become almost a standard for screenwriters in Russia.
