Hi Ya'll! Okay, seems I have been somewhat challenged to ask around on this topic and to look for an agent. ANYONE here is, knows, or related to a talent agent that is wanting to expand their roster? Any tips, hints or other information as to go about submitting to an agency is also greatly appreciated. I am in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area, but these days it may not matter.

Hi Dan, some agencies will accept unsolicited queries, others will not. If they do, make sure your card shows many different looks/styles and keep your paperwork short, sweet and to the point. They just need the top level information when considering you. when it comes to this - always research beyond a google search - read reviews, reach out to fellow actors, send inquiry emails, etc. because certain agencies just are flat out not worth it & prey on new actors. Non-Union work is extremely prevalent all over the country & finding an agent comes with time, commitment, & of course building your resume/reel. Where do you live? Most cities all over the U.S. have great agents & managers but do not rush into it, it is a delicate search & it comes if it's meant to be. Pertaining to location - try to do workshops & other casting resources to reach out to as many actors & people as possible!
