Extraordinary on Disney+. The worldbuilding was very subtly done and so effective.

"Hold the Dark," an adaption from Jeremy Saulnier, is a movie with odd plot structure that many have criticized, but it builds a haunting setting that acts as a character, and that's what made it stand out for me

Sandman did a good job of this. Despite there being a huge and nuanced world to get to grips with, the audience is never overloaded with exposition and we can learn about the world at a pace that keeps it intriguing and deeply layered.
