Hi Michele, I find networking at the markets (AFM, Cannes, Berlin....Cannes especially) to be fruitful to meeting investors. We have a great webinar on this, too, that goes into detail: https://www.stage32.com/webinars/How-to-Approach-Investors. From time to time we get a Stage 32 educator who was on the producing team of McMillions with Mark Wahlberg's company to come in and teach an in-depth lab about finding and approaching investors. We are hoping she will teach it again in the spring, so keep an eye out for it under the "education" tab.
