Hey, Richard Chiu. Best to you on your project with Emile Hirsch. He was great in "Lone Survivor."
Some of my favorite movies growing up were "Harriet the Spy" (why I started writing), "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1-3" (my favorite-favorites), and "Small Soldiers" (it's high-concept, which is what most of my scripts are).

Richard Chiu Hey Richard! Congrats on all of your work and it's great to meet you. There were movies that inspired me to work towards screenwriting but it was also the music behind those movies that drove me even more. I sometimes use those composers as background music as I'm writing. Hans Zimmer and John Williams comes to mind so that would include "The Empire Strikes Back" and "The Dark Knight".

Great stuff, Richard Chiu! And impressive IMDB credits you have. Movies from the 70s like Bullitt, Gone in 60 Seconds and Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry shaped my love for cars and writing action scenes; Mash for its satire; and Star Wars (IV, V, VI) for epic story telling.

Wow! Congratulations on the slate. Films for me...I grew up loving the adventure of Indiana Jones (I knew Temple Of Doom off by heart), The Goonies (who doesn't want to sarch for buried treasure) and Stand By Me (I think there's a theme of escaing and adventure to my foundations ha ha ha)
