Hey everyone! My name is Kyle and I’m a newly screenwriter based in Chicago! I’m looking to make connections and gain experience. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Glad to have you here Kyle. I was just in Chicago last weekend and saw the river dyed green for St. Patrick’s Day, really cool. What types of things influence you in your screenwriting?
Hy Kyle Marvin same here with trying to make connections. I'm a fledgling screenwriter still holding down the day-job (policing in the UK) so understand the difficult transition although you're ahead of me as you're a designer TURNED screenwriter, I'm still wanting to become :)
Maurice: I’m working on a few: One is of a person who lost his brother to a drug overdose, he starts working at the pharmaceutical company and attempts to get his revenge. Another is of a husband and wife who moves into a new city and the apartment building next door is eerily similar to theirs. Turns out the couple across the street are them a couple days in the past. And the other one is of a girlfriend who convinces his boyfriend to go to couples therapy, the therapist turns out to be a cult leader and they got trapped into a cult and tries to escape.
Amanda! Thank you, The river dye was pretty neat! Besides watching films with the script in one hand, I love hearing interesting stories about real life events with a bit of a twisted turn. Ruben Östlund, Ari Aster and Bong Joon-ho are some of my favorite screenwriters. What about you?
