Introduce Yourself : Mr. Entrepreneur ... where are you? by Charles V Abela

Mr. Entrepreneur ... where are you?

‘STAGE 32’ - Thank you for the opportunity.

My name is Charles Abela from Sydney, Australia. Best described as an Old Fart. I am truly retired and my background is in Computer Management and then 20 years in my own small ‘Below-The-Line Advertising’ business – Never more than nine people.

This blurb concerns a Spec Script for ALL THE PRESIDENTS’ MAN. Please note the punctuation.

Logline. Hunter Harrison has just saved the ex-president’s life. However, he struggles to save his own as the U.S. President dispatches him to Moscow. His mission: to foil a plot to take out the Russian President. The Year 2035.

It is written using Script Studio, Courier Nuvo, 12 point, all to Hollywood Standard – 117 pages.

With all humility and with no offense intended, what I do NOT expect are invitations for studies, books, tips and tricks, pitch sessions and anything in between. I need to fast-track it so I am cannot get involved in with readers, screenwriters, etc.

I need a person who dons his entrepreneurial hat, who can look at it and tell me “Yes, there is a market” or “Thrash it, you’re wasting your time … and money.”

So, with all respect, what I expect is somebody who asks me for the Synopsis and Treatment as a start.

Thank you for reading. Best regards. Charles Abela.

Hi Charles V Abela! Thanks for sharing, your story does sound really interesting. I know you don't expect Pitch Sessions, however, they are a great way to find out if there is a market or if the story needs work! If you email me at success@stage32.com I can recommend some good execs that you could pitch to!

Welcome to Stage 32, Charles V Abela. ALL THE PRESIDENTS’ MAN sounds thrilling!

I think your logline needs to be tighten up some.

After ______ (the inciting incident/the event that sets the plot in motion), a _______ (an adjective and the protagonist's position/role) tries to/attempts to/fights to/struggles to/battles to _______ (goal of story) so/in order to ________ (stakes).”

The inciting incident can also be at the end of the logline: “A _______ (an adjective and the protagonist's position/role) tries to/attempts to/fights to/struggles to/battles to _______ (goal of story) so/in order to ________ (stakes) after ______ (the inciting incident/the event that sets the plot in motion).”
