Anyone can distribute to Amazon without a middle man. Great outlet for filmmakers! :)
Hi Stephen, yes but working with an aggregator offers you a channel where your content will be not alone in the middle of a huge platform without any membership group. Also we offer our know how and a platform to check the monthly income, not everybody can dedicate time for production and distribution of the content. But again, anyone can deal directly with Amazon, like we did some time ago, and learn a new field of our great industry.
Hi Amanda we offer the documentation to be under our distribution contract with Amazon Prime Video in the same channel with more than 100 titles.
For no-budget / micro budget filmmakers, your distribution is fairly limited. Mainly a variety of streaming platforms (Tubi, Amazon Prime, Xumo, etc, etc). And this does not require a third party. Often times, filmmakers then get charged outrageous fees for basic stuff (subtitles, new poster, trailer etc). All this can often be done for $500 or less.
