Read a Good Book Lately? : When Life Gives You Vampires by Gloria Duke by Marcia McNair

I don't normally read anything in the vampire trend, but I'm telling you, this book was a breath of fresh air. Most of this genre is very plot driven i.e. there's little or no attention to the use of figurative language. Gloria's writing style is witty and gritty. Plus, the plot twist at the end caught me off guard. Typically I always guess the ending! This book would adapt easily to film. If you want a fun read (perfect beach book), this is it.
