I have worked in media area over 25 years producing videos, producing TV radio talk shows and working as a backgrounder in over 20 films. Now I produce podcasts one is on the film industry where I have interviewed actors, writers, producers, directors, animal trainers, etc. I am very connected to the film industry in our city as we now are getting investors in film studios two virtual(volume) one in the city and other just outside. I recently visited Los Angeles(West Hollywood) also and toured 3 film studio where I held both Oscar/Emmy in my hands and at a museum got a mini-Oscar ceremony to accept an Oscar.
I made some great networking contacts over there as I stayed for 25 days and covered lots of events in Hollywood with interviews ,video and photos.I am about to publish a guide to the film industry and target date is summer to get it out.

Hi Barry Hollywood! Love your enthusiasm! And, glad to have you in the Stage 32 community. 25 days in LA is a great amount of time. It was great you got to tour some studios and hold an Emmy and an Oscar. What were some of your biggest takeaways visiting LA?

staying at hostel right on hollywood was great as thats where all the action is premiere movie screening walk of fame star placements i witnessed 3 of them. great networking opportunities in long beach i met captain of the tour boat also actor/stuntman for universal gifted me pair of universal day passres on my birthday. caution side have to be very street smart on buses and subeay trains can be risky rough people can go after you. dont show off your a tourist you could get marked for con or scam. also i was withing short walking distance of fast food restaurants, pharmacies, grocerty stores. visiting the museum on fairfax and wilshire got to meert great staff and gave oit my cards and pins from our city and made great connection to them more than willing to pose for photos whever i attended other events too. i conducted about 3 interviews at 3 events and they were open to being interviwed and photographed.i found strong police prsence and they have new ambassdaor program running to be on subway and buses.

I never thought in.life I would hold an Oscar in my hands plus an Emmy experience beyond belief Eben though I did get to keep them. One thing though I wish I was.dressed in suit n film tie.but I will return to that museum.dressed for the occasion! It's also something I can put on a vision board!!!
That sounds like a great experience, Barry Hollywood. And they let you keep the Oscar and Emmy. Next stops, the real Oscars and Emmys.

They were real didn't get to keep them
Oh ok, Barry Hollywood. I thought you said they let you keep them. And by "Next stops, the real Oscars and Emmys," I meant you accepting awards at the real Oscar and Emmy shows.
