My name is Marcel Flock, I'm 29 years old FIlmmaker born and raised in Leipzig, Germany and currently living in Berlin.
I started my career as an movie critic/ reporter back in 2013, worked for huge german outlets like Der Spiegel, created my own Website Geek-Pool and had many interviews, red carpet reports since then.
In 2019, I started my training as a media designer for image and sound and finished it at the beginning of this year. During this time I have 7 short films, produced, directed, written and edited.
I also worked as an Set-Runner on "The Contractor" with Chris Pine, as an Camera Trainee for "King of Palma" and I'm currently working at Studio Babelsberg as an Editor
As I mentioned before, I was diagnosed with Asperger's Autism at the age of 16 and over time I have come to terms with it and am not ashamed to say it in public like I used to be.
Film is something that has accompanied me all my life, even as a small child I could get excited about movies of all kinds, I was especially interested in the processes behind the camera.
I love the industry, the collaboration with incredibly talented people and the mutual acceptance and striving for the same goal, to entertain people.
I am also happy to make new acquaintances here and who knows, maybe we will work together in the future.
Until then
See you Space Cowboy..
Great to meet you, Marcel Flock. You were the Setrunner on "The Contractor" with Chris Pine. That's impressive! Now, what's a Setrunner? :D

Set-Runner, basically you are an production assistant and you're boss is the unit manager. So it's a good start for someone, who never worked on a Filmset before
