My name is Aldrich Marchena aka Captain Al or DJ Cappy,.... I have just retired from being a International DJ and Online Radio Personality traveling around the world playing in front of people to currently living on a 90 sq mile island called "The One Happy Island Of Aruba" for the last year and half,... As a person who was always in the entertainment industry I came to find out after retiring,... Retirement,... Retirement,... Damnn it can be very "boring",.... So boring that my Dr told me that I am suffering from "Stage Depression",... and was suggested to find something to compensate the emptiness left from retiring,... Somehow, my best friend convinced me (a story on it's self) to join an "acting group" here on The Island,... Who knew that I would have felt sooooooooo comfortable with acting, but most importantly with writing!!! something I hated to do when I was young,... Well it's been only 6 months since I started to "write scripts" and in the short time I have 3 full featured movie scripts,... one 4 full feature saga movie script and 4 short movie script already written,... Current Scripts by Captain Al: Full Feature Movie Scripts: - 1824 The Curse Of W.R. - Historic/Documentary/Fiction - “Adonis” Marooned On The Island - Historic/Documentary/Fiction - Zjeito - Bio/Adventure/Drama/Romance Saga: “The Legends Of Captain Al” Full Feature Movie Scripts: Historic/Documentary/Fiction/Adventure/Drama/Romance - The Legends Of Captain Al I - The Beginning - The Legends Of Captain Al II - Captain Al’s Treasure Cave - The Legends Of Captain Al III - Captain Al’s Stolen Shacklorin Treasure - The Legends Of Captain Al IV - The Return Of The Shacklorin Princess - More To Come Short Feature Movie Scripts: - A Summer Love - Romantic/Drama/Adventure - The Legends Of Captain Al - “A Cave’s Death” - Drama/Adventure/Mystery - I Like To Operate On - Comedy - W.O.L.O. - Drama/Adventure/Documentary/In lighting/Friendship/Inspirational Social Impact Film Of course being an International DJ has thought me a few things so I have registered all my scripts for "world wide copy writes",... My Best Friend seams to think that I have a lot of talent as a script writer and that I should try to have them produced,.... But then again she is my best friend so I can't really take her opinion as unbiased,... lol... So if you are a Director, Producer and Film maker looking for a script,... or just in for some reading let me know,.... Captain Al,...

Welcome to the community, Aldrich Marchena. Three feature scripts, a feature saga, and six short scripts in six months. That's impressive! Captain Al and Dj Cappy. You gotta write them as characters in your scripts.

Welcome to the Stage 32 community, Aldrich Marchena! We're so excited to have you here!
The best way to network here on Stage 32, is just to put yourself out there by posting, commenting, and connecting with people from all over the world. The most effective networking comes from building genuine relationships over time. A great way to start is by checking out the Screenwriting Lounge where you can join discussions with other writers, pose questions that you may have, provide advice or insights, and share news/announcements that interest you.
You can find the lounge through the toolbar at the top of your browser window. Simply click on "Lounge", which will direct you to a new page listing all of the current lounges available to you. Then select "Screenwriting". I hope to see you over there!

I use Final Draft 12, Aldrich. It's the easiest screenwriting program I've used. It has production features, but I mainly use the screenwriting features. I use WriterDuet as a backup screenwriting program.

Maurice Vaughan I find it easy to use,... especially since I am not "educated" in writing so the "automatic" system it has really helps me,.. I am not using production features either since I am not sure of what they are,.... lol....
Aldrich Marchena I don't know much about the production features in Final Draft 12, but it's nice for a writer to have them in case they decide to make a film or show.
