Hello everyone, just wanted to put out a warning if you are thinking about finding a sales agent to help distribute your film. Make sure to stay away from Applied Art Productions. They are a fly by night operation. Here is their website https://www.appliedartproductions.com/. I think it's a one man show operation. Our contact was a Mitesh Patel, he was horrible. They are out of AZ. They also make very very low low low budget films. I think they been sued twice nonce in 2019 and Ithink he sued someone in 2020 and he settled his case for few dolor's. Anyway, just wanted to make sure you don't fall into the same trap as we did. :-(

Yes, especially the one sales agent at Applied Art Productions we had to deal with. Really bad. Soemtimes they change their business name so filmamkers won't figure it out until it's too late.

They're very shady. I am sure they'll be dealing with lot of lawsuits. I'm SUPRISED filmmakers still talk to them for their distribution deals. Maybe it's because they don't know how bad this comapny is. The owner is from India (I think)? Our feeling is when the lawsuits come his way, he may leave the country to avoid payments to content creators. That's how shady they are.:-(
