Rose Gill is a Punjab Civil Services Officer passionate about filmmaking and storytelling. She has formal training in Film-Making, Script writing, Screenplay Writing, Cinematography and Editing from New York Film Academy, Los Angeles. She is a proud alumnus of such a prestigious school in the heart of Hollywood, surrounded by the walls of Universal studios and Warner Brothers. 

She has made several short films in the past three years. She has directed the ace film actor of Punjabi Cinema "Nirmal Rishi" in the short film 'Nazri naa aawe". 

She made a hard-hitting short film, 'Fark Painda hai' to inspire the youth to participate in India's political decision-making through the voting system's power. She has made Award-winning experimental films "Time's Up" and 'White Right'. 

She has collaborated with filmmakers from Spain, USA, Brazil, Portugal, Peru, Ukraine and Mexico to make short films 'Those Few Stole Heart-beats', 'And She learns to move on', 'Sip of death', 'The Wound The Light' and 'Creator'. 

She has worked as Associate Director for "Brig. Pritam Singh, The Savior", which won NATIONAL AWARD 2022 for Best Investigative Drama. 

All her films have bagged 'Memorable Mention' in Student World Impact Festival. Her film "Those Few Stolen Heart-Beats' has bagged a special mention. Her interview with Mark Leschinsky, President SWIFF as a notable budding Film-Maker has been featured in Spotify Podcast, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music and Audible for global listeners.
