I stand with WGA writers, Josiah Bhola Hillaire. I can't be at the picket lines, but I'm picketing on social media in a way (telling people about the strike, donating, etc.).
What's the main sticking point that the writers want? I'm hearing conflicting stories like the studio's want to replace the writers with AI programs to generate ideas. Has anyone else heard that?

I definitely support the writers' strike. Studio execs are constantly squeezing the writers.

Josiah, I absolutely support the WGA writers.
After all, we can't have movies if somebody didn't think them up...and we can't have TV shows if nobody created them. So why shortchange writers?

Regulating the use of AI was one of the WGA's proposals, Steve Hayes. Here were the WGA's proposals and the AMPTP's offers: https://www.wgacontract2023.org/uploadedfiles/members/member_info/contra...
