I am interested in watching the new John Wick, but I have not followed 2 and 3, do you need to watch those to follow the story in chapter 4?

Not really. They are all amazing and fun rides and it never hurts to follow the path from one to the next but Chapter 4 is just an incredible feat in action filmmaking all on its own. It's long but wildly entertaining.

It can't be that difficult to carve out an extra four-to-five hours to catch up on the previous ones, can it? It's not like binging the Lord of the Rings or Marvel movies or such.
