Post-Production is huuuuge

Hey everyone!

If you visit the Post-production lounge often or you wish you visited more, I've got a question for you:

What areas of post production are you interested in?

Are you a picture editor, and all you care about is how the picture's worth a thousand words?

Are you a foley artist, creating a Galaxy far far away by mixing up laser SFX

Do you spend hours in a dark cave color grading in resolve?

Do you pixel peep for 16 hours a day as a VFX supervisor?

Does your leatherman jacket say "Loop Group"?

Let's everyone share a bit about their post production experience and weaknesses. Maybe we can all have some insightful questions answered by some pros.

Mohammed El Sharqawy

in the dark color grading suite room, a you can get carried away by what you do. time passes by and you forget that you're inside of what you called "cave".It's like you're in a movie theatre but you're not there to watch a two hour movie session and go back outside and breath the fresh air. it's like you enter there after the audience have left the theatre, while the last lines of credits are rolling on the screen. turn off the lights that guides the movement in the dark. Start up the gear and ejoy messing with the immersive machine that we all enjoy!

you just brought me back these images from your post, happy to help. :)

I love that you're asking this question, Langley Coleman! I don't work in Post, but I'm commenting so that it can reach my network. =)

I'm a producer so I simply have enormous respect for each and every position and artist in post. Thank you all!!!
