Looking for Talent Management for myself. Really need recommendations. I have a ton of talent and need someone to help manage it LOL. I need to game plan. I need someone to help me narrow down and zero in on my focus. I am an actress, screenwriter, and filmmaker. I have done everything from hair, makeup, art department, Assistant Director, and PA behind the scenes. I really just want to focus on acting and writing. The genre I enjoy the most is the Action Rom-Com type. I am serious about this being more than just a hobby and want to gain more traction. Looking forward to your recommendations.

Hi Jennifer Brewer, The best way to find reps and network here on Stage 32, is just to put yourself out there by posting, commenting, and connecting with people from all over the world. The most effective networking comes from building genuine relationships over time. A great way to start is by spending regular time here in the Acting Lounge joining discussions with other performers, posing questions that you may have, providing advice or insights, and sharing news/announcements that interest you. Over time, that will help you stand out to the reps and execs that also spend time here on Stage 32.

Hi Jennifer! I second everything Ashley said above! Finding a community and getting to know those around you within that community is a sure fire way to make a step towards representation. Referrals from friends and industry piers is the best way to get your foot in the door, so keep meeting people here in Stage32 and eventually those doors will start to open.
Also while you're at it, do plenty of research into the market that you're in. Draw up a list of managers that you think you'd make a good match with and then see if there's any common denominators there. Alongside your online community, keep attending those in-person events to meet the right folks. Acting classes, film-festivals etc.
Best of luck!

Sounds like you should also consider producing a short Jennifer Brewer -- this puts your many, many gifts on display (writing, acting, producing, hair). This also gives you something to show beyond an acting reel. Post the reel in S32 and ask for feedback. That exposure will likely lead to introductions.

Hi Jennifer - here's a link to a Stage 32 2-part class on the subject that I recommend. Spencer reps actors and has a lot to offer on this. Check it out: https://www.stage32.com/classes/Actors-Your-Step-By-Step-Guide-to-Gettin...

Have to agree with Sam. Spencer would be great to meet with. He also does 1-1 reel reviews, and career consultations. The links are below!
