I've written a screenplay, but I don't have the first clue about how to get it into the hands of someone who can actually get it made. I don't have an agent and I don't know anyone in the film industry. Any ideas?

Hey Paul! First step is networking, which you're already doing right here on Stage 32. Get to know as many people as you can at all levels of experience in the industry. Then just get as many scripts as you can (in good shape) circulating among those people. The more people know your work, the more that they can recommend you to other people
Welcome to the community, Paul Hallasy. I second what Emily J said. It's about networking/building relationships. Here's a blog about how to network successfully on Stage 32: www.stage32.com/blog/how-to-network-successfully-on-stage-32-3356

Hey Paul! Agree with Emily and Maurice about making connections, but also make sure you've written an awesome script so you have something to sell. Definitely invest a few bucks into getting your script professionally reviewed before you shop it around. "We Screenplay" is a great source. You might want to make a few changes based on outside opinions. Welcome!
