Too funny. Surfing the internet does include research so that part is accurate. I'm on a keto diet which takes out the binge snacking. Other than that...pretty accurate.
Me, I'd have to say my own pie has just three wedges: "Surfing the Internet," "Reading for Inspiration," and "Actual Writing." [Okay...surfing takes up half my circle (and mainly just to get writing ideas), reading is 25%, and writing's the remaining 25%.]
Mine actually replaces "surfing the internet" and "binge snacking" with "working out/exercise" and a slice devoted to creating the best possible play list to act as a soundtrack to my project.
BUT that yellow slice (actually writing) is vibrant and has bold, LARGE CAPITAL LETTERS.
No binge snacking or playing wordsmith for me, Tammy Hunt. And surfing the internet would fall under research. Though now I'm hungry for a slice of pie.
My productive hours: Half are working on my FL script and the other half is teaching myself to play pedal steel guitar. Internet time is limited to research to both and very little is spent wasting time on internet now.

Change "Surfing the Internet" for "Actual Writing" for me, Tammy Hunt. No "Binge Snacking." :)

Inspiration can come from within, by access to the Collective Subconscious.

Nope. My actual writing is half the circle. Reading is 1/2 of the other half of the circle. Binge snacking doesn't exist in my world.

Maybe for unemployed writers. The folks I know who write for a living are very disciplined; many don't even have a social media presence.

Tammy Hunt Hi Tammy, I’d say that reading for inspiration and surfing the internet for research is a huge chunk of that pie, for me.
I’ve never written “The” and then deleted it. Once I’m ready to write, nothing stops me!
Binge snacking. Nope, I tend to lose out on food till I have something down that I’m happy with.

This is great! Add "finding the right music to write to" and it's pretty accurate for me

Guilty as charged.
However, when I work on something, I give it 100%.

When doing everything on the wheel I am thinking about writing. Getting my butt in the sit is sometime harder. But I do love writing.
