I hope everyone is working through the writer strike, and bracing for the SAG/AFTRA strike June 30th. I am pushing ahead on new scripts.
I had a wonderful experience with a script consultant that I connected with on Stage 32 recently. I now have a polished log line, synopsis, plot and theme for my scripts Henry's Ghosts and The Castle Builder. Myescha Joell created what I would never have thought of. I am going to have her do this with my stories Boy Blue and Café Talk.
Those that have learned things about me know that I am skeptical of any services and not quick to give anyone money, mainly, because I have trust issues, and this is from past experiences, and until recently I doubted any service shared my vision.
Stage 32 is changing that. I have had people work on log lines, the writers help has been great, and of course Myescha. Maurice Vaughn is a gem, and I have had people respond to my job posts. I am green when it comes to knowing production things. I write and understand actors, and when I have asked questions I have gotten responses, and links, and suggestions.
I am not the easiest person to know, and I at times expect a lot. I have made comments that people did not necessarily like, there have been a couple times that RB was not happy with things I said, that said. RB has sent me resources that he thought might help me, and I have made more connections on Stage 32 than any of the other sites I have been on.
A couple years ago I did shut my Stage 32 page down, and I was ready to do it again, and Maurice kept stressing to me that things take time, and I need to be patient, and getting people to notice new writers is a long process. Maurice is the reason I did not shut my page down this time.
So, in closing. Stage 32 does support writers, and all parts of the entertainment industry, When the writers strike happened it was Stage 32 and Script Revolution that addressed it, and provided what to do if approached by a producer or production company to keep ourselves out of trouble. So thank you to everyone involved in Stage 32. RB, the services, and the support.

Glad you had a wonderful consultation, Tim Bragg. Your stories are unique ("Henry's Ghosts" and "The Castle Builder"). You just needed to work on your pitch material, which you did. And I'm glad you're not shutting down your page. You're a cool person to talk with, and I'm sure you're gonna continue making progress on here. Thanks for the shout-out. Hope you sell your scripts once the strike's over!
