Terrific article! As usual, the way to “break in” is do good work. You break it down well, with strong words of encouragement. As a generalist at a small company, I value that I’ve had to learn many aspects of filmmaking by taking on jobs outside my comfort zone.

Mike Boas, I also always learn more when I step outside of my comfort zone. I have a friend who always says, "If you're qualified, then you're overqualified. If you're underqualified, then you're right where you need to be to learn and grow."
