Thanks for sharing Lauren Black. I got a real laugh out of "what are they gonna do, arrest me?" I'm not an expert on standup but from the people I know who have done it, it seems to be about repetition and over time honing your set, on stage persona and point of view. Keep doing it would be my only thought. That and keep writing. So brave and courageous to get up there for your first set!
