Stage 32 has a great sample written pitch for Star Wars (I think). When I did my first written pitch last year, I found that sample by searching the info or FAQs section for pitches in Stage 32 and/or emailing the right staff contact. It looks like Kiril has responded with a sample too.
I was told you write like you would be face to face with a producer in an elevator. Be prepared not to stutter at a question. You should be able to breathe life in you story. I don't know, I was told this. Maybe someday, I will. Be prepared.
