Hello, been a lurker for a while, so introing myself now! I'm an actress and writer. I generally write horror novels, but having found a great subject for a documentary and knowing nothing about how to go about pitching it, I joined up. I live in London and know lots of actors and writers, some of whom are well-known. I hope to find the answers to my questions and be of some help to other folk. Hello!

Hey Tracey, hi from London. If you're free on the 29th of August, Let's Make Films has an event for film makers at Framestore's offices in Chancery Lane, link is here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/lets-make-films-august-2023-london-ticket... I made a few connections here and got on set on a couple of short films.

Nice to meet you, Tracey Vanessa Brown. Glad you decided to introduce yourself. I was a lurker on here too.
Stage 32 great webinars on pitching (www.stage32.com/webinars?search=pitching). I'm sure you'll be able to pick up some tips from the webinars to pitch your documentary.

I'd echo Greg Wong 's suggestion for Let's Make Films, and there's also Raindance. BAFTA also put on Guru days regularly that may be of help!
