Hey everyone! You might have seen me around the platform but it's been a while since I've re-introduced myself, so here goes! I'm Emily and I'm the Stage 32 Writer Liaison - what that means is, whether you're a writer or not, I'm here to help you take your project to the next level through Stage 32 (which is why I encourage you to shoot me an email at success@stage32.com and let me know what you're working on!).
I've worked in the industry since graduating with a degree in Screenwriting in 2009. I've been passionate about screenwriting since writing parodies of James Bond and soap operas when I was in middle school. In my career, I've worked in literary management, development at production companies, and at various script services and contests companies. The throughline in all of this is I LOVE helping stories come to life on the page and screen. -- So now, I'll ask you -- what drives you to "introduce" your stories/ideas to the world?

Someone make Emily J's James Bond parodies please!
What drives me to "introduce" my stories to the world is wanting people to see the unique stories and scenes I write. There's so many movies and shows out, it's hard to be original but I try really hard to write unique stories and scenes people have never seen. And I want my stories to change people in some way, even if it's a little change.

What drives me to introduce my stories to the world is typically one of two things (or both): I have a life lesson/message to share or I just want to make people laugh

@Emily J for me it's the inner desire to share what I have been fortunate enough to learn about life and believe could help others as well.

Love these responses! Maurice Vaughan - my siblings and I filmed them and they are a RIOT to watch, but would make no sense to anyone outside my family probably hahaha

Hi Emily, I'd love to read some of your James Bond parodies. I'm always looking to shoot something fun. It's always beneficial when you can include a positive message in a film or have a takeaway from it. Seeing someone come to life from a page is most rewarding for me. It takes a village t get there but what a moment when it does.
