Screenwriting : That moment when you find some old works you've forgotten about... by Tamara Rees

That moment when you find some old works you've forgotten about...

I found some screenplays of a few shorts I'd written back in checks notes 2004...

Yikes. Nearly 20 years, that!

How does time pass us by so quickly? Ah yes. Something called "life" I suppose!

Also, some of my writing back then... I cringed. So I revised it. I win!

For example, some dialogue read "Does your phone have WAP?"

That itself means something TOTALLY different these days!

Maurice Vaughan

I've done that, Tamara Rees. I definitely cringe sometimes when I read my old scripts. Haha But it's great to look at old scripts and see your growth.

Geoff Hall

Cringe yes, but then it's great to see how you've progressed from those days of yore.

Dan Guardino

I just finished rewriting an old screenplay and it's funny how much screenwriting has changed. I blame it on the gurus.
