I’ve just started screenwriting. Had very positive “pass” on my screenplay from a Stage 32 pitch session (maybe he was just being nice, who knows). In the past I’ve had literary agents represent one of my novel manuscripts to no avail. A current novel is under consideration with a NYC agent. I’ve almost given up so many times but keep pushing on. I figure just enjoy the process, right? If I can’t drum up interest via conventional avenues I may self-produce.

Joshua Dinman hi Joshua, never give up. The pain of trying is temporary, but the pain of giving up lasts forever! Plus, you are here on Stage32, with a bunch of people who just keep on writing, so I’m sorry, but we won’t let you do that!
So greetings, and to personalise your experience in this community, could you please add a photo to your Bio. Thanks, Geoff

Welcome to the community and screenwriting, Joshua Dinman. Yeah, gotta keep pushing on. The scripts for a lot of big and incredible movies were rejected time after time after time.
