I know that pursuing a creative passion can be so discouraging. You pour your heart, soul, and hours into a project only to be met with endless rejection. I just want to say I believe every person embarking on that journey is such a badass. I am so inspired by every writer who continues to put their light onto the page, regardless of the outcome. I think it takes incredible strength of character as well as a special connection to that magical source of creativity. So if you are feeling down at the lack of perceived "progress", just know I think you hold the stars. Keep writing!! I am feeding off of your light.

Thank you. Yes, it can be pretty rough and there are some times you have to make some hard decisions. I had a friend of 20 years tell me that because of my age, 58, and location, Iowa, no one in Hollywood would ever be interested in my writing. When I said how shocked that attitude was he said I just had to face the fact that I'd been wasting my time and money. That was two years ago and the last time I ever spoke with him.
If they won't support your dreams they are not worth your friendship.
