Introduce Yourself : Welcome to the Stage 32 Community!! by Ashley Renee Smith

Ashley Renee Smith

Welcome to the Stage 32 Community!!

Hi Everybody!

My name is Ashley Smith and I’m the Community Executive and Member Liaison here at Stage 32!

Prior to joining this incredible team, I spent nearly 7 years at a boutique development and talent management company where I was deeply involved with every development project, management client, and administrative aspect of running the company. I oversaw a rich development slate of films, ongoing series, and limited series across genres and developed projects for Amazon, Sony TV, FX, Universal TV, Paramount TV, Legendary Global, MGM, A&E, Concord Originals, and many others.

Here at Stage 32, I oversee this fantastic Community, as well as the Blog. It’s always my goal to bring you all exciting resources and information to help you network, connect, and learn more about various disciplines and processes within the entertainment industry. I’d love to know what you all enjoy best about being a part of the Stage 32 community, what you’d like to see more of, the kind of AMAs that you’d like to see in the lounges, and the type of blog topics that you would enjoy!

Don’t be a stranger! I look forward to connecting with you all.

Emily J

Hey Ashley Renee Smith! So grateful to have you on Team Stage 32 with us! Absolutely love working with you on all things community and leveling-up this awesome experience for members!

Maurice Vaughan

You do an outstanding job overseeing this fantastic Community and the Blog, Ashley Renee Smith!

What I enjoy best about being a part of the Stage 32 community is interacting and hanging out with people.

I'll like to see more webinars/classes/AMAs/blogs about script theme, character arc, and agreements/options/legal documents (for writing, acting, producing, etc.).

Ashley Renee Smith

Thank you, Maurice Vaughan!! Those are great suggestions and I'll absolutely keep that in mind when planning out future blog posts.

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Ashley Renee Smith. Ok, sounds great!

Ashley Renee Smith

I couldn't do it without you, Emily! You're the best!

Niki H

Ashley Renee Smith happy IYW! I'm so happy I get to work with you :)

Stephen Folker

So cool to learn about all the awesome stuff you've worked on.

Leonardo Ramirez

Very grateful for you, our dear Captain. You do an amazing job of steering this ship with wisdom and kindness and I’m proud to play a part of your crew. Thanks for all you do!

Geoff Hall

Ashley Renee Smith All hail to the Chief of the Mod Squad! I hope you're having a good weekend. What creative projects are you working on at the moment?

Ashley Renee Smith

Leonardo Ramirez, thank you my friend. I'm so grateful to spend my time with this community and the best team of mods! You're all awesome and so helpful to this community.

Ashley Renee Smith

Geoff Hall these days I'm pretty singularly focused on helping the community here at Stage 32. But I am starting to write something new for the first time in a long time and that's been both exciting and nerve-wracking.

Ashley Renee Smith

Thanks, Stephen Folker. It's been a fun journey.

Ashley Renee Smith

Niki H, I'm so happy and lucky to get to work with YOU!

Geoff Hall

Ashley Renee Smith that’s great to hear, Ashley.

ZsaZsa Greenberg

Need member help team. Read Pamela Glasner. I have similar experience and need to direct message you. How to do that? I accepted person in my network.

Maurice Vaughan

Hi, ZsaZsa Greenberg. After you accept a person's network request, you can send them a message by clicking the green envelope button on their profile. The envelope is under their profile picture.

ZsaZsa Greenberg

Thank you Maurice. Actually I was trying to write in code because I'm afraid that a person I allowed in my network, and now has my personal information, will cause me problems. He stole a casting director's identity and tried to scam me. He tried it with 4 people that I know of.

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, ZsaZsa Greenberg. You can remove someone from your network by going to "In Network" and clicking "Remove Connection."

Sorry to hear he tried to scam you and others. Have you reported him to Stage 32? If not, you can with support@stage32.com.
