Looking for serious and positive opinions.

I wanted to ask my fellow creatives as part of ALOT of research for my next screenplay...What did you LIKE and DISLIKE about the Indiana Jones and National Treasure films and shows? Other works in the genre would be cool as well (I.e. Tomb Raider/Uncharted games) as long as you're real about it,

Hi Matthew P Lindemann! Before I "ding" a movie I feel like I have to verbalize how hard it is for anything to get made (franchise or not) and while it's not my fav movie in the series, there's a lot of good stuff. PWB was fantastic, the kid was great, the tone was solid. I was surprised by the amount of actual "grounded" killing there was (as opposed to just knocking someone out in a campy way). I would've liked more 'puzzle' elements, those were the best parts to me. The biggest thing that ultimately took me out of the film thought was the McGuffin that was used. Even if you try justify it with Indie's emotional arc, I just felt like it didn't fit the franchise or the world. But I would watch a whole PWB spin-off series and ten more movies if the team wanted to do them.
