Hi, all! I am a writer with a 25-year career in advertising. I pivoted towards movie and TV scritpwriting in 2015. So far, I’ve written 6 features (2 in post-production, 1 to be released by the end of the year, 1 in prep, and 2 for the American market and still raising funds, one of them in partnership with UTA). I’m repped in Brazil and Europe, and I have won a few prizes. I am also the head writer of “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?” for Sony and Globo Network, a program that reaches around 35 million people every Sunday. I’d love to meet people from all around the world and exchange experiences. I have just signed my first contract to direct a feature, which I also wrote. We have just nailed a distribution agreement with Latin America's largest distributor, we are Partially funded and we expect to shoot in August, 2024. I am absolutely terrified! Never thought I would debut as a director with 47 years-old, so I am accepting Al tips you guys can give me :)

Very nice to meet you, Rafael Peixoto ! Congratulations on expanding your knowledge and career. So great to read you didn't "settle" in what can already be considered a huge success. You inspire me! I switched to Film Scoring from playwriting and composing for theatre at 44 and moved from Italy to LA. I wish you all the best in your new filmmaking adventures!
