G'day from New Zealand.
I'm an experienced (30+ years) film crew member who has a boring "pay the bills job" - production accountant - but who's also been a development executive, TV writer, screenwriting lecturer and many other more creative/enjoyable things over the years. Sadly, it's the accounts work that mostly pays the mortgage! With that said, my real love is writing, performing and screen storytelling (be that directing or producing) and I've "dabbled" in most of these areas over the years. Recently I've decided to put more energy back into these creative endeavours. So I'm doing some Stage 32 courses in screenwriting and directing, as well as some acting workshops with an experienced local actor here in Auckland.
I look forward to seeing if Stage 32 can "open any doors" as well as be a resource for me to investigate some new avenues and expand/brush-up on some skills. :) I have a small number of spec scripts across various genres which I'm pitching, and am attached as a produced on another.
