Not sure if this is the right place to post this. However, Let's Make Films is an event I have previously posted about. They are a networking and educational event for film makers in London, running an event every one or two months or so. The last one I attended, Terry Ackland-Snow https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0010070/ gave a presentation and talked about the 80 something films he's been involved in as Art department and later Art Director working with directors like James Cameron, George Lucas, Martin Scorsese, Ridley Scott, the list goes on.
If you are London based, or the surrounding area, you might be interested in their next event. The last for 2023.

I got myself onto two sets and made a number of useful contacts including meeting some BAFTA award winning film makers in the process. I personally got a lot out of these events. It's held at Framestore's offices in Central London and is a strictly ticketed event. No turn ups at the door as security is tight! There's a limit on numbers so if you plan to attend, get one sooner rather than later.
