Hi Superstars! How's everyone feeling now that the strike is over? To be quite honest, I feel so inspired by SAG-AFTRA's negotiating committees effort and the support of the W.G.A. to defend all union actors around the world. They helped us get more funds with a fresh business model that can sustain our careers for way longer than before. What an amazing victory for actors everywhere! May the auditions start rolling in for all of us!! Let's go!!!

Did you read the AI clause? Not good especially for background actors. The studios are still trying to put the least paid people out of work. And we are going to have to learn how to manage our "asset" our "digital double." Actors READ THE CONTRACT YOURSELF. WORD FOR WORD and KNOW YOUR WORTH

I'm curious to see how this vote plays out for the actors... it may pass but I don't see it getting the same numbers as the WGA's, but we'll see. Outside of that, I feel like the tone has been much more optimistic and everyone wants to get moving again

Hey, @Omari Washington. How are you doing? I appreciate the SAG-AFTRA's negotiating committee's effort, and I'm glad they got great gains for actors, but I'm confused by some of the AI language in the tentative agreement that the SAG-AFTRA has been posting online. Looking forward to getting clarity on those things. I know actors are too.

Yes Maurice Vaughan the AI language especially when it comes background actors, is disturbing. It is exciting that people are going back to work on established shows, I do wonder too @emilyj how many members will vote on it.

@cyreita the strike is officially over, everyone has returned to work, however, the contract has not been voted on and officially ratified, so if it does not pass, strike will resume.
