Happy weekend and Yes: This is me!

"Hello, everyone; thrilled to join this vibrant community at the behest of our esteemed CEO and Founder, R.B. – his dedication to nurturing this space is truly inspiring.

I'm Sophie von Rheden, a storyteller, German by origin, flourishing under the Spanish sun. My journey into screenwriting began amidst the solitude of Madrid's lockdown, a silver lining in challenging times. I am navigating the emotional terrain of motherhood and grandparenthood.

In my earlier days as a makeup artist, I had the unique opportunity to accompany a German TV moderator for interviews with football legend Diego Maradona and the iconic Frank Sinatra. These experiences not only add colour to my life but also to the stories I weave.

My foray into the film world was a leap of faith, with insights gleaned from countless Film Courage videos and the nuances of U.S. screenwriting. My learning style? Let's say it's uniquely mine – think films with audio descriptions and scripts in hand.

Stage32 was my gateway to the industry, a secret ambition held close to avoid naysayers. Following the advice to engage on social media, I've been sharing my journey on Stage32 and would be thrilled if you could join me there – your support and insights would be invaluable as I navigate this exciting path.

My first screenplay, a romantic drama, not only saw the light of day but triumphed at the Evolution Mallorca 2022 International Film Festival. That moment of victory, etched in memory alongside my supportive husband and son, propelled me to pen five more scripts, earning accolades across various festivals.

Now, I'm on a quest for the next big step – finding an agent or manager to bring my stories to life. The journey's been enriching, from festival networking to absorbing wisdom from Stage32 webinars.

A dream? To have R.B. host a screenwriting course right here in Mallorca, a haven for creatives. If my adventure in weaving tales of romance, comedy, and drama resonates with you or sparks curiosity, I'm an open book, ready to share and connect.

Cheers to the art of screenwriting!

Warm regards,

Sophie"

I remember the beaches there in Palma way back in my navy days.

Sigue viviendo tu sueño. Keep living your dream. :)

You're welcome, Sophie Von Rheden. You're right. We are learning by doing. I've learned more on Stage 32 in a few years than I have my entire screenwriting career.

Richard "RB" Botto

What an amazing and inspiring post, Sophie Von Rheden. It's a pleasure to have you and your positive energy in my network and on this platform!

Of course, I was drawn to your interview with Sinatra. Do tell more!

I'm grateful for all your kind and thoughtful words. Means more to me than you might imagine. And I should say, I love Mallorca. Maybe we can just make that happen.

Raquel Pimentel

Hello Sophie Von Rheden, welcome to this vibrant community. I can only congratulate you for following the suggestion of our esteemed Richard. Bienvenida!

Richard "RB" Botto

Thank you, Raquel Pimentel

Sophie Von Rheden

Richard "RB" Botto Thank you, R.B. The pleasure is mine.

And yes, we will make it accurate for you to come to Mallorca whenever you have time in your busy timetable.

What concerns the most incredible voice of all time? In 1986, there didn't exist any mobile. However, the fact that Frankyboy sent his manager to our hotel room and invited the entire team to his concert in Milano, where we were all based, was quite a thrilling surprise for the German TV team.

It was his compensation that he couldn't make it to the interview. The ninth row was pretty near. There was also his wife Babara with him.

At least we could realise the interview with Diego Maradona and his wife in Naples on the same business trip. I remember this well because the moderator asked me if I could translate (as a make-up artist) her questions into Spanish. I swear my Spanish was still in the beginning, and I was extremely nervous since it was unexpected. I learnt that you get your chances and have to challenge them to make the best of it, whatever it takes.

Have a great weekend.

Sophie Von Rheden

Thank you, Raquel ,Raquel Pimentel.

Eugene Mandelcorn

Sophie Von Rheden

Eugene Mandelcorn Oh, thank you, Eugene. I am open for consideration. I send you a DM. X Sophie
