I'm a screenwriter still trying to get some traction. I have one feature film (dystopian/ action) on it's 3rd draft. I've written and directed a couple short films. I'm also working on a grounded superhero episodic.
My heart beats to tell stories that have a deeper meaning. I love highly creative movies that show me things I've never imagined while having a truthful underlining message.
I'm also looking to connect with other writers! Let's encourage and sharpen one another! I'd love to hear about your ideas too!

I write films because I have stories to tell and I think screenwriting is the best way to tell them.
My best advice for new screenwriters: Build relationships/network as you write your scripts. Don't wait until after you've written your scripts to build relationships/network. If you build relationships/network as you write your scripts, you'll already have relationships established for when you pitch your scripts.
I sold four short scripts to a producer in May 2020. I met him on Stage 32. I had a manager back in 2009.
