Suzanne Bronson

THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS and A CHRISTMAS STORY. Those are the only ones I watch repeatedly.

E Langley

ELF, an every Christmas Eve tradition. NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CHRISTMAS VACATION. PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES. A CHRISTMAS CAROL (1951).

Maurice Vaughan

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, Lorenzo Fleming. Some of my favorite holiday movies are HOME ALONE, HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS (starring Jim Carrey), NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CHRISTMAS VACATION, A CHRISTMAS CAROL (1984), GREMLINS, and CHRISTMAS WITH THE KRANKS.

Suzanne Bronson

I love the Bill Murray A Christmas Carol, the only funny part in Christmas Vacation is the squirrel in the tree, is HomeAlone a Christmas movie? -That's an eternal debate. Well at least no one said Die Hard. I have forgotten and I can't believe no one else has said it either: IT"S A WONDERFUL LIFE.

Ty Strange

I have six that I watch every year, Lorenzo Fleming, and sixth added this year.

• Love Actually

• The Most Wonderful Time of The Year (2008 staring Henry Winkler)

• The Man Who Invented Christmas

• Fred Claus

• National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

• Scrooged

• A Biltmore Christmas (2023)

Ty Strange

Yes, Suzanne Bronson, Home Alone is considered a Christmas movie.

E Langley

So is DIE HARD.

Suzanne Bronson

SCROOGED that was the name of the movie I was looking for! I was too lazy to check my list.

DIE HARD and HOME ALONE are movies that take place at Christmastime, but could very well take place any other time of the year (and have) that is my position on the eternal debate.

I have not heard of THE MAN WHO INVENTED CHRISTMAS Ty Strange I will put that on my list for this year.

Morne Patterson

Hope that you all enjoyed thanksgiving!

Ty Strange

I think ever writer would enjoy The Man Who Invented Christmas, Suzanne. It's about Charles Dickens during his writing of A Christmas Carol. And it showcases in dramedy fashion his process of how he created the characters and story.
