For All of my fellow Screenwriters, Authors & Novelists . . . About Copyrighting our work(s) . . . IMPORTANT!!!

I was recently sent this article by a close friend in thee industry as-well the writing community-at-large or as-a-whole. I decided to come and share the link with everyone here on the Stage with a stark warning-- Writer's Beware of the RISK you take IF you have not Registered your Copyright with the US Copyright Office BEFORE you share it with anyone else.

This shall be on thee most important reads for us as individual - Independent writers of all genres as-well venues for getting our stories read, or seen visually on the Big S C R E E N

If you are showing your scripts to try and win contests, you'd better be certain you already have Registered your Copyright for that story, if not... it is at huge risk of being used for the benefit of others and their sneaky dirty ways of gaining new fresh story ideas or ones that are trending and making BANK.

It's a dollar-driven-industry and anyone who tells you differently is bold face lying. Use your smarts and common sense, but again - - - get your work(s) PROTECTED BEFORE you submit to anyone anywhere.

Please enjoy the read(s) via this Link. There are many great avenues to pursue to learn the ropes of this business. Cheers mates and Happy Writing!

Always Sir Nicholas In Seattle of Vashon.
