Diana De Rosa - Actress, Journalist, Photographer, Location Manager and more

I do so many things that it keeps me very busy. The downside of doing a lot of things is that I work a lot and here I am on a Saturday putting in another long day after a hectic week.

I'm only a part time actress and doing lots of other things helps me because then I'm not so stressed out if I don't get a gig. So far I've done four auditions this week and have been alerted by one of them that I got a Music Video Dancing role. Now I'm just waiting to see what happens with the rest.

A lot of my life is focused on taking pictures of properties my brother has available as locations for movies and working with location scouts that reach out to me and want to scout the properties. Some of my photography is done with a Matterport Camera for Virtual Property shoots as it gives productions a good chance to see what each property looks like and it allows them to stop where ever they want and get a closer look at each room. Sometimes we find out with the location properties that if an HOA or Road Association is involved that can be a real headache. I'm curious to know if other people have had to deal with that.

Then there is my job as the worldwide correspondent of the EQUUS Television Network. Just got back from covering the Pan American Games in Chile and it was a lot of work but also fun. We also covered the American Farriers Association Conference. I do a lot of interviews with key equestrians before we arrive and more onsite. It's a job I really love even though it's a lot of work. You can find my interviews by going to equustelevision.net and plugging in my name: Diana De Rosa. As far as horses, I know them well and have covered 9 Olympic Games and have great memories.

My skills go far and wide as I'm deeply immersed in the equestrian world so if anyone is working on a movie that involves horses and needs an actress that is comfortable around them and riding, I'm your gal. I can also help with the photography on gigs where I have been given an acting role.

Well, that's enough from me now. If you are looking for an older actress keep me in mind and don't forget my other skill sets. And thank you Stage 32 for what you do here for us. And a special shout out that the writers strike is over. No one wins in the end when a strike is involved, but sometimes you have to do what is right to get what is right.

Hi Diana, Happy IYW! Great to hear about everything you have going on. It sounds like you love it all and are fullfilled! Congrats on the audition. Have you ever done work as an animal handler? I don't know much about it but seems like working with horses on set would be a great fit.
